The garments feature a Wind outer coating, smooth and made of 100% recycled polyester coated with a polyurethane film that guarantees excellent waterproof and breathable performance. Additionally, the Giga padding in high-density nylon fabric, extremely soft and thin yet resistant, protects from water and air, absorbs moisture, and dries quickly. The double coating makes the coats versatile garments suitable for all seasons.
For every coat sold, 20% of the sales will be donated to Save The Dogs, an Italian association founded in 2002 by Sara Turetta, which carries out interventions to combat stray animals and overpopulation of dogs and cats in Italy and Romania.
Save the Duck, always at the forefront in respecting and safeguarding animals, supports the activities of the Save the Dogs association with a collection entirely dedicated to our four-legged friends.
Save the Dogs and other Animals is an Italian association created to respond to the emergency involving stray dogs in Romania. Save the Dogs and other Animals operates locally through first aid activities for dogs and cats who will later be adopted by families abroad.
The association also takes care of animals that cannot leave the Cernavoda shelter quickly through a remote adoption program that offers them the opportunity to receive care, food, and love. By purchasing a Save the Duck item for Save the Dogs, you will allow a dog to live a warm winter at the Save the Dogs shelter in Cernavoda, Romania.
The collection consists of very colorful dog coats made with an inner padded part that ensures warmth and protection from the cold, and an outer waterproof part to shield the animals from bad weather. They fit perfectly to the animal's body thanks to the harness and the elastics placed inside the thigh.
Save the Duck will donate all the profit from the sales of the dog coat to the remote adoption program for dogs of Save the Dogs.
To choose the right product for your dog, you need a soft tailor's measuring tape. The measurement must be taken carefully with your dog standing on all four legs, and depending on the measurement you need, proceed as follows:
Back length:
Measure the length of your dog's back by measuring the distance between the shoulder blades and the base of the tail (the dog should be standing to ensure an ideal measurement). The measured length can be used to determine the clothing size.
Chest:
Measure the circumference of your dog's abdomen just behind the front legs at the widest point of the chest. The tape should be positioned tightly so it does not move; add 2 cm to the measured width to get the chest measurement.
Neck circumference:
Measure by placing a flexible tape measure around the center of the neck. The tape should be tight, then add 2 cm.
