Instructions for first use:
If you are using it for the first time, have your dog wear the calming ThunderShirt® vest in a calm situation. Reward your pet with a treat to associate the ThunderShirt® vest with something positive.
Later, have your dog wear the vest as described in the paragraph below for about 5-10 minutes. Observe how the animal reacts to the pressure of the vest and reward it with a treat.
Instructions on how to wear the vest:
Place the ThunderShirt® vest on your dog's back.
Close the neck strap gently.
Wrap the two ends of the vest around your dog's abdomen, leaving two fingers' width between the vest and the animal's body.
Adjust the top part downward for a snug and comfortable fit.
